What is the once-in-a life-time gift that will truly last forever and ever and is given to all first time parents by their first child? Author, Janice O'Reilly answers this question in her series of books titled "A Gift That Will Last Forever and Ever". This creatively written first baby book series is PERSONALIZED with parents and childs names throughout the story.

This is a book for the modern family; beautifully illustrated and it represents the uniqueness of all families including LGBT, adoption and interracial.

One of the modern families that have received "A Gift That Will Last Forever and E ver" is the Paglialunga family of Colorado. Carmelo Paglialunga and John Reilly and their son Reilly. Carmelo Paglialunga shares his comments about the book series with the author, Janice O'Reilly.

JO: I have a series of books now, each specific to individual families. Your book is written and illustrated specifically for the LGBT community and falls in to its own category under Gay/Adoptions. What were your first impressions about the book when you realized that it was tailored for two Daddies?
GP: I thought it was fantastic! Many of the books we read to Reilly often speak of Mommy and Daddy. So its great to have something that's this personal and addresses a Daddy and a Papa! Reilly is almost almost 20 months old now and he LOVES to have books read aloud to him.

JO: How would you describe Reilly's interest in this book while you were reading it together? When you got to the page that introduced his name, did he recognize it?
CP: Yes, and he pointed to himself and said "Reilly" and then pointed to John and said "Dada" and then me and said "Papa". It was so cute!

JO: Can you share with us the fist time you heard Reilly say "Papa" and "Daddy"?
CP: It ws such an emotional moment. It brings tears to my eyes and reminds me of all the reasons why John and I chose to be parents.

JO: Most personalized baby books focus on the details f the baby. But this story is more about this little bundle of love coming into our lives as a gift. I new that this "gift" had to be captured in a way that would touch the hearts of those who read it. The book's goal it to celebrate the "gift" shared by all families!
CP: It reminds me of how far we have come as a society. Writers, such as yourself whom are not gay, are beginning to address that all families look different and that many children have two dads, two moms or whatever!

JO: It's about time we celebrate all "modern" families with a custom book illustrated as uniquely as we all are, don't you think?
CP: Absolutely!! And we appreciate you for being in the business and offering our families a beautiful book for our modern family! Many thanks, Janice.
